Munich Museums: Lenbachhaus

The Lenbachhaus was the villa of Franz von Lenbach and is famous for its unique collection of paintings of the "Blauer Reiter" (e.g. Franz Marc, Wassily Kandinsky, August Macke, Alexej von Jawlensky, Paul Klee, Gabriele Münter).

In addition, works of Munich painters of the 19th century are shown. Within the last 20 years, important works of present artists have been aquired as well.
