The beautiful Prinzregententheater was built according to plans of the architect Max Littmann following the example of the "Richard-Wagner-Festspielhaus" in Bayreuth and opened in 1901. From 1944 to 1963, the Prinzregententheater was the stage of the Bavarian Opera House. Now, not only plays and operas are presented in the theater, but also classical concerts and other events. |
